Edamame are unique soybeans that are harvested at the green stage. They are lightly boiled in water and eaten by popping the beans out of the pods. Enjoy as a snack, and appetizer, or a full meal. Frozen edamame are now readily available in many supermarkets and on restaurant salad bars. When buying from your local grocery store, ask for US-grown! Give them a try! .

Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Quite arguably the best dish of the night and one of my finer dishes. Of course, the italians like the carbonara purely just the egg yolk, pecorino cheese and parmesan cheese. But adding cream to the sauce brings in much better texture and creaminess. All in all, making the sauce like that, is so much better than that cheat mushroom soup gunk, cheap restaurants here serve. I wanted to try to make carbonara from stratch.
